J.R. writes about things the I care and worry about
I found Past, Present and Future. An original full-length Hip-Hop CD created by John, an 8th grader in Maryland in Space #3.
I enjoy the song “When will I die?” because it talks about when he dies he wants to be a star who died.
One line that stands out for me is:
I don’t want to go to hell
Want to go to heaven
Just like the lucky guy who hit three 7’s
I think this is talking about how when he grows up he doesn’t want bad stuff to happen to him. I agree that you have to be lucky to stay away from bad stuff.
Another part that I like is where he prays at night.
When I’m here
I be praying most of the time
If you want to hate
Go ahead and kill me
Make a crime
I pray like that sometimes too, not worrying about people who hate.
I look forward to listening to more songs on J.R.’s whole CD. I like his songs, because he talks about things I care about and worry about.
