I found poem in Space #3 by Danielle.
I do not enjoy “Abandoned” because it’s talking about being abandoned and no one loves you.
One of the lines I understand is: “It might hurt to be abandoned, but you have to learn not to show the pain.”
I think this is horrible because they abandoned their child because some of them
do not care about them and some are poor that why they abandoned all of their
children.
Another line that stood out for me is: “The pain to be abandoned hurts” because it seems that their mother and father do not love you.
I look forward to seeing what Danielle makes next because she makes great poems about her life. Maybe it did not happen or maybe it did.

I enjoy the song “When will I die?” because it talks about when he dies he wants to be a star who died.
One line that stands out for me is:
I don’t want to go to hell
Want to go to heaven
Just like the lucky guy who hit three 7’s
I think this is talking about how when he grows up he doesn’t want bad stuff to happen to him. I agree that you have to be lucky to stay away from bad stuff.
Another part that I like is where he prays at night.
When I’m here
I be praying most of the time
If you want to hate
Go ahead and kill me
Make a crime
I pray like that sometimes too, not worrying about people who hate.
I look forward to listening to more songs on J.R.’s whole CD. I like his songs, because he talks about things I care about and worry about.
The reson I like to work on the computer is because I to play games on the computer and I like to do research of my work like on china and india.That is my work for social studies.
I like to play football and basketball because I like to do the trick with the basketball and for the football I like to catch the ball or throw it’s fun to catch and throw.
In my house I was reading The Red String Book. It’s about the evil eye and gods and other stuff. A string book helps you with your anger and to have fun. My older sister gave me this book to deal with my anger.
One thing I did on spring break that makes me feel good about myself is that I went to see the Bronx Zoo. I like the sea lions. They were swimming and they roared at each other. It was like they were talking to each other. Another exhibit I liked was the wild dog because they looked like dogs.They were sleeping too. I liked the dogs because they were wild. After the zoo, we went to Buger King. Then we went to see “Prom Night.” It was not that scary because the girl saw a man hat kills everyone.
We are going on spring break next week!one thing I’m planning to do is to go to contra park to play basketball
or play football. I am looking forward to this because I’m doing everything I can to have fun like to play everything.
I’ll be going to the with Bondon and Joshua because they are two of my friend who live close.
